Database Management
|
|
E&S Environmental Chemistry,
Inc. offers services in all aspects of environmental assessment, including database design and development, data
quality evaluation, database management, and quality assurance and quality control.
Below are some examples of database management projects E&S has conducted:
|

On-Site Data Collection.
|
-
Hydrologic Analysis of Seepage Lakes - E&S developed a verified/validated database including precipitation, surface water, and groundwater for a hydrogeochemical study of Lakes Five-O, Lucerne, and
Barco, Florida (Client: KBN Engineering and Applied Sciences, Inc.).
-
Lake Diagnostic and
Feasibility Studies - E&S produces integrated water
chemistry/watershed databases for its diagnostic and feasibility studies for
lake restoration. Projects include lakes in Wisconsin, Alaska, and Oregon.
-
Paleolimnology Research -
E&S managed the biological/chemical database for two projects in New
York involving use of fossil diatoms and modeling to reconstruct lakes
impacted by acidic deposition.
-
Bull Run Reservoirs - E&S reviewed a 20-year database on the water quality in the largest water supply reservoirs in Oregon (Client: City of Portland, Water Bureau).
-
Diatom Data Cooperative for
North America - Working in collaboration with the Academy of Natural
Sciences in Philadelphia, E&S developed a data cooperative for diatom
algal fossils in lake sediments for reconstructing past climatic and lake water
acid-base conditions.
